CERTIFIED GOTS SILK
Our TWINSPARENCY SILK TOP is made of 100% organic silk certified GOTS (Global organic textile standard). Their requirements include ecological and social criteria. This certification ensures organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through manufacturing up to labeling in order to provide you a credible assurance.
CERTIFIED ZERO WASTE POLLUTION MERYL
Microplastic pollution is invisible and a true problem since there is the equivalent of 30 billion plastic bottles in the oceans. One of the biggest source of micro plastic pollution is synthetic textiles. They release micro plastics in the water and air when producing them or washing them at home. We did not want to participate in this pollution so we chose for the bodysuit from THE TWINSPARENCY SET to be made of an innovative fabric that does not release any micro plastics.
FSC CERTFIED VISCOSE
Viscose is made of wood pulp. So the conventional supply chain of this tree-based fabric is riddled with issues, from deforestation to excessive chemical uses. This is why we chose for the viscose of the DOUBLE THE LOVE SKIRT to be FSC certified. The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) runs a global forest certification system which demands that wood, paper, and otherforest products are sourced from well-managed forests.
CERTIFIED GOTS COTTON
For the DOUBLE THE LOVE SKIRT, we only use certified GOTS organic cotton. This ensures that no pesticides, chemical fertilizers or genetically modified seeds are used, minimizing the impact on our environment.
Organic cotton produces 94% fewer greenhouse gas emissions that conventional cotton production. Water usage is also reduced by more than 90% compared to conventional cotton production.
