What should we have for dinner? Whether you’re asking this question to your partner/roommate or simply to yourself, we feel you. Sometimes the hardest part is not even the cooking but simply finding inspiration. When a look inside the fridge doesn’t do the trick, we turn to Instagram and some accounts that never miss to inspire us. Here are some of our favorite ones!
Gabbriette B @gabbriette
@gabbriette
Her 2000s inspired looks, her goth makeup, her easygoing vibe… We’re following @gabbriette for many reasons but the main one might be her cooking skills. The influencer - who shines in the beauty and fashion industry as a model - has also become quite famous through her cooking videos. What started as a way to stave off boredom has become the source of several buzzes on Instagram as some of her recipe videos rack up over 30 000 likes. What can you expect following Gabbriette? Salads, deserts, dressings… There’s nothing she won’t try, including recreating famous products such as Erewhon’s vegan blackout cake. Bonus: a lot of her recipes are grain free!
Yotam Ottolenghi @ottolenghi
@ottolenghi
Does this one really need an introduction? Yotam Ottolenghi has become one of the most famous chefs in London but also worldwide thanks to several bestselling cookery books. And he doesn’t seem to be lacking inspiration as his Instagram account @ottolenghi will provide you daily content to discover new recipes. His dishes, taking inspiration from around the world - including Israel, where he grew up - will guarantee you a major success at your next dinner party!
Pierce Abernathy @pierceabernathy
@pierceabernathy
You might recognize his face from some reel as Pierce Abernathy is the perfect example of the successful cooking influencer. After some experiences in the cooking field in New York, both in food media and in restaurants, Pierce Abernathy was working in a marketing agency when the pandemic hit. As many of us, back in his hometown in Kentucky, he had not much to do but cooking. And what started as just a few videos posted on his Instagram @pierceabernathy for fun has become a full-time job. Always experimenting, his content gathers original recipes but also classics - a good way to learn some techniques you’ll be proud to tell your friends about! We also love seeing him create a recipe from scratch with random stuff in his fridge.
Rachel Ama @rachelama_
@rachelama_
This account might put an end to the belief that vegan food can’t be super tasty. When she decided to cut dairy, fish and meat out of her diet, Rachel Ama felt a newfound inspiration that drove her to create yummy recipes and share them on Youtube and Instagram but also in a cookbook - One Pot: Three Ways. If you’re vegan, want to cook for someone who is or simply like to eat vegan dishes from time to time, we highly recommend you follow @rachelama_. You’ll thank us later!
