Our Favorite Spots in Paris: Summer Nights Edition

Article written by Jen Cassamajor.

You might have noticed it by now: we’ve got a never-ending crush on Paris. Its restaurants, its museums, its night life… even after a few years we still get the feeling that we can be surprised and amazed everyday by a cute restaurant, a tiny street or an amazing view. And that feeling gets even stronger with every season change, especially summer as terraces and rooftops (re)open. It’s like re-discovering our own city! As you deserve the best summer ever, we thought we’d share our favorite spots so far to make the most of the nights to come.

Folderol to end your night on a sweet note

@f.o.l.d.e.r.o.l

Folderol may have found the key to happiness : ice cream and wine. This cute wine bar opened by a couple of chefs in December 2020 offers not only a great selection of wines but also of ice creams, from the classics - vanilla, strawberry… -  to more original flavors such as cornbread or geranium. The menu changes regularly as the ice creams are made with fruits coming directly from a market nearby. The place is quite small yet very popular so get ready to stand or to sit on the sidewalk but trust us, it’s worth it!

Fabula to have dinner in an historical decor

@fabula.paris

After Chloé Charles and Thibaut Spiwack, the Musée Carnavalet’s restaurant invites Julien Dumas for its third season. The chef, who already cooks for Bellefeuille - the restaurant of the château-hotel Saint James - offers a variety of plates to share with a focus on vegetables in season. With its dream-like location, Fabula is the perfect place for a romantic dinner date or just to enjoy good cocktails (imagined by Remy Savage) with friends.

Brach for a drink in an elegant countryside vibe

@brachparis

What if we told you that you can enjoy a drink in the 16th arrondissement with a view on the Eiffel Tower AND a chick right next to you ? Mixing nature and elegance, that’s the challenge the Brach hotel seems to have risen to with its rooftop. And the result is definitely a success. You’ll get to enjoy a cocktail surrounded by aromatic herbs, the hotel’s vegetable garden and…chicks. For those who will fall in love with the place, you can even book a Norwegian bath to enjoy a relaxing moment with an incredible view on the city.

Mademoiselle Mouche for holiday vibes

@mademoisellemoucheparis

Yes, you can actually feel like you’re sitting in a beach club while enjoying a beautiful view on Paris. Located on the banks of the Seine, Mademoiselle Mouche - which has officially opened for its fifth season this summer - has become a must of hot summer nights in Paris. Whether you’re going early for a nice afterwork or later in the evening to enjoy a DJ set, you won’t be disappointed!

Le Jardin for a bucolic break from the city

@chevalblancparis

This huge rooftop might be in the center of Paris, you have to know about it to notice it. Located on the 7th floor of the luxury hotel Le Cheval Blanc, it offers an exceptional view of the city’s biggest monuments: Montmartre, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre.. Le Jardin is aptly named as you’ll definitely feel like you’re in a garden while enjoying a refined dish or a delicious cocktail.

TOO TacTac for a panoramic view on the city

@tootactac

Located on the 27th floor of one of Jean Nouvel’s Tours Duos in the 13th arrondissement, TOO Tac Tac is the highest Parisian rooftop. Opened only since last fall and designed by Philippe Starck, its modern terrace gives us strong New York vibes. As much as we love a dinner date or drinks with friends, we also highly recommend to enjoy the place in its party mood!

TOO Hôtel - 65 Rue Bruneseau, 75013 Paris
